Woodland Springs is situated in the north east part of Dartmoor National Park about 1.5 miles from Whiddon Down on the A382 off the A30. We are in the hamlet of Venton, it is not shown on most maps due to the small size of the hamlet. We have excellent access, Exeter, Plymouth and the English Riviera are all accessible from here as is Cornwall and Somerset. There are a great many things to see and do in the area.

The area has many National Trust properties in the area including Castle Drogo, Finch Foundry, The Church House, Teign Valley and Fingle Bridge. Also in the area are many lakes and reservoirs like Fernworthy Reservoir where you can walk and take in the fresh air or fish and many other local attractions like The Mythic Garden and Bowden Hostas.
